Karate winter camp has just finished (ouch); this was held in Bournemouth this year during 2-4th February. Special congratulations to our club member Hugh attaining his black belt on the grading session held on the last day of camp (when we are all tired). An excellent effort and well deserved Shodan grade especially as Hugh bucked the trend of opting for Basai Dai and presented a sharp Ji’in for his selected kata.
