Counting in Japanese
There are times in the dojo when the count may be given in Japanese. Here is the most common form of numbers used from 1..10. The last ‘i’ after ch is not pronounced (i.e. ichi sounds like itch in english) so the only two-syllable number below is roku (rock-ooh).
