Kata for this week’s late session is Hangetsu

For those studying for Nidan (and any one else of course) we will focus on Hangetsu  in  the later session this Sunday.

Hangetsu (Half Moon), also known in other styles as Seishan, requires great attention to the breathing with emphasis on the deep inhalation and exhalation, particularly on the slow opening sequences of uchi-uke -gyaku tsuki.

As a reminder from the SSKA Nidan Syllabus
